PRAISE-HK team was honoured to be part of the Hong Kong Air panel discussion organised by the American Women's Association Environmental Committee!
At the panel discussion on 18 Oct 2019, Dr. Michelle Wong from PRAISE-HK, together with Mr. David Ho from the Environment Protection Department, Dr. Marco Ho from the Hong Kong Institute of Allergy, and Mr. Patrick Fung from Clean Air Network, raised a few important issues on the development in improving Hong Kong's air quality.
The panel also shed light on the short-term and long-term health risks of air pollutants in Hong Kong and advised the ways to minimize the exposure to air pollutants, including using apps such as PRAISE-HK to make informed decisions about any outdoor activity.
